CAL FIRE Local 2881 Endorses Mike Murphy for State Assembly

Sacramento, CA — April 22, 2026 — Mike Murphy’s campaign for California State Assembly today announced the endorsement of CAL FIRE Local 2881, the union that works to represent and protect the interests of the more than 10,000 members who provide comprehensive fire protection and emergency services across California.

The endorsement highlights Murphy’s commitment to public safety, wildfire prevention, and ensuring first responders have the resources they need to protect communities across the Central Valley.

“I’m honored to have the support of CAL FIRE Local 2881,” said Murphy. “Our firefighters put their lives on the line to protect our communities, and they deserve strong support in Sacramento. I’m committed to ensuring they have the resources they need and advancing policies that improve wildfire prevention, forest management, and emergency response.”
